My Little Roses

hi there,
It has been a lovely spring day here in Perth today. I have spent time with my good friends making cards and tonight have been finishing off my swaps for Perth Regional meeting for Stampin' Up!.
One of my swaps is a bit over the top but I have mainly made them for my team including my sideline a few friends I have made in other teams as well. I made 20 of my roses card and 20 of my blue Elements of Style card. I have taken a few photos of the steps involved in making my little roses and also made a video for you to see. If you like my card and would like me to post one to you, I will keep one and those who leave a comment on this post will go into a draw to win this card. I am happy to post it to you. Tonight I will show you photos of the steps involved and I will add a video when I have time to tweak it a little.
Punch with 1 1/4" circle and then scallop circle
 Sponge edges with Burgundy ink
Cut between scallops on an angle
curl edges back using bamboo stick or fingers
Roll up with Quilling tool or bamboo stick.
let rose relax to desired shape. punch a 1/2 " circle for base.
glue outside tag to keep rose together
glue rose to base and let dry. When dry cut base circle close to rose.
Another version of my swap card.

Well I hope you like my little roses. I will get the video finshed and up soon. Have a great weekend.

Andrea those roses are so cute! And that looks so much easier than cutting out bits of flower punches and trying to glue them together. You've inspired me to dust off my qulling tools, thank you!

Thanks for sharing.

Your roses are so beautiful and Elegant Andrea. Thank you for sharing how you made them. I have no quilling tools, but I'm sure I can figure out how to do roses with the tools.
