Secret Sister Card
Hi there, I hope your weekend is going well. Yesterday I was lucky enough to receive my first card for this round of Secret Sister over at ESAD. this card is made using the top note die and the stamp set Cottage Garden. She also sent me a lovely book mark made with the same set. I like to read so I'm really loving this bookmark as I have been using a piece of paper lately. Not that I don't have other book marks but that was handy when I started this book and I have never got around to changing it. I will now as I have this lovely new book mark. If my Secret Sister reads my blog then thank you so much for this gift and card. I'll be back soon with some cards I made yesterday.

My Little Companion
While I have been sick I have been sitting on the lounge with my Lap top on my lap and Skye comes to visit and decides to jump up and sit on my chest. She did this 3 times one day. I let her stay there for awhile but I cant see through her so if I want to do anything I have to get her to move. I have made a card today for stamp club but haven't photographed it yet. I hope to do that tomorrow so I can show you then.

Another Helping Hudson Challenge
I have done the next 2 challenges from the Helping Hudson site. The 3D challenge is to make an octagonal box and I decided to make mine a holder for pens, aqua brush, bone folder etc. I used a favourite technique of mine for the main box and that is versamark resist and brayered over it with Wild Wasabi. I then made some little flowers using the boho blossoms punch and sponging with pink pirouette. the leaves are punched with the 2 step bird punch and wild wasabi card.
The other challenge this week is a colour challenge
and here is my card I made yesterday. I decided to use Vintage Vogue and my Big Shot with the top note die and polka dot folder. What do you think?I'm really enjoying having some time and energy to do some stamping. Now I am off to get ready for tomorrow nights Stamp Club.

Helping Hudson Sketch Challenge Week 2
hi there,
I am feeling allot better today even though I'm still coughing. I have done some stamping today and made a card for the sketch challenge over at Helping Hudson Website. The Sketch is below. and here is my card. I loved making this card. I have tried these roses out recently and love the look of them. they are a little bulky for a card but I would give this card without posting it. I used Pink Pirouette and Brocade Blue. The greeting is from Cheer and Wishes and I used the polka dot embossing folder.
I'm hoping to get the other 2 challenges done sometime this week as well.

Get Well Cards
This week I have received 2 lovely cards letting me know my friends are thinking of me. I love anything with flowers and both these have flowers on. The first one is from Sue. Thank you so much Sue for this lovely card. I love the way you have added the cut out flowers. The second one is from Barb. Thanks Barb. I love the embossing on the yellow part and the cut out border.

Helping Hudson Challenge
I have been following the Helping Hudson Website and decided to do the challenges. After so long recouperating on the couch I actually got to my stamping table today and made a card. I decided to do both the challenges for Helping Hudson in one. The colour challenge was Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Not Quite navy. The sketch challenge is below.
I bought all the tutorials from Helping Hudson and will have plenty to keep me busy for some time. Pop over and see how you can help Hudson.
I am improving on the antibiotics but still not too good and wonder when I will be totally well. I have been coughing for 6 weeks now. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Have a good weekend.

Diagnosis
Hi there, I thought I would pop in and let you know that after going back to the Dr today I have found out that I definitely have pneumonia but as it isn't responding to the normal antibiotics they call it atypical pneumonia so I am now on even more antibiotics so hopefully in a couple of days I will be feeling so much better. Thank you for those thinking of me and praying that I get better soon. Also since I have no cards to post today I thought I would show my little guard dog. She sits on top of the lounge and looks out the window and then her little head goes up and she barks... the only problem is its the next door yard she is looking at on the angle she sits. She has been great company while I have been sick.
