Helping Hudson Sketch Challenge Week 2

hi there,

 I am feeling allot better today even though I'm still coughing. I have done some stamping today and made a card for the sketch challenge over at Helping Hudson Website. The Sketch is below.

 and here is my card. I loved making this card. I have tried these roses out recently and love the look of them. they are a little bulky for a card but I would give this card without posting it. I used Pink Pirouette and Brocade Blue. The greeting is from Cheer and Wishes and I used the polka dot embossing folder.

 I'm hoping to get the other 2 challenges done sometime this week as well. 

Helping Hudson Challenge

I have been following the Helping Hudson Website and decided to do the challenges. After so long recouperating on the couch I actually got to my stamping table today and made a card. I decided to do both the challenges for Helping Hudson in one. The colour challenge was Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Not Quite navy. The sketch challenge is below.

 Here is my card. I used Upsy Daisy and enjoyed actually stamping again.

I bought all the tutorials from Helping Hudson and will have plenty to keep me busy for some time. Pop over and see how you can help Hudson.
I am improving on the antibiotics but still not too good and wonder when I will be totally well. I have been coughing for 6 weeks now. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Have a good weekend.

Mojo Week 137 and SSC124

Last week I got together with my friends and we did a couple of sketch challenges. This is one of my cards. It is Mojo week 137. I used the Autumn days stamp set and the co-ordinating designer paper.

My other card is sketch SSC124 and I decided to make a Christmas card as I will be starting my Christmas stamp a stacks this month. I used Season of Joy with Old Olive and Riding Hood Red.

Its just a quick post tonight as I am off to bed to read my book. I have really been enjoying reading lately. Have a good week.

Organic Grace

I have made a card with this sketch before and thought I would try it again with a new level 1 hostess set, Organic Grace. This is SC182 from SCS. I have used bashful blue and so saffron with Night of Navy. The greeting is from the new set On Your Birthday. I have used bashful blue brads and a buckle from the silver hodgepodge with Navy grosgrain ribbon.

Animal Crackers

Hi, I have had a really fun day making some cards with my good friend. We used some sketch challenges and also did some direct casing. This one is SC 215 from SCS. We used summer sun and choc chip card stock and also good morning sunshine DP. It was a fun card to make.
I hope to show lots more cards in the next few days as I have more time with the school holidays here.

Sketch Challenge

I decided at the last minute to do Makeesha's new year sketch challenge which can be found here
this is my card made in about half an hour, late last night. I have used Pick a Petal as I have only used it once. Also used the In colours Blue Bayou and Soft Sky.
