Last of the swaps....

I made 3 different swap cards for myself and those who didn't get the chance to bring one. I have shown a couple of these before but I will show them again today.
This card is a Kerry Bunting case

This card is a CASE from Mary Fish. I just changed one of the colours.

This last card is one I used a sketch challenge for and then used the idea of the 4 stamps that I have seen in a few places on the net. Well that is all the swap cards but I do have other projects to show from camp soon.

All in the Family

Hi there,
today I have a card made by Karen for camp. She has used the set All in the Family. Like many of us, we have the set but don't get it out all that often so it was nice to use this set.

Isnt it a lovely bright card? I hope to use this set more this year.

Camp Swaps finally......

Hello again,
I have finally taken the time to photograph and edit the cards we made on camp for swaps. I will show you them all over the next few days.
First today is a wonderful covered notebook that Shelly made as her swap.
Isn't this a nice notebook, ready to take notes over the weekend.
Next today is Tracey's card. It is made with the triple treat flower. I have been meaning to use this stamp for so long so I stepped mine up a little by adding the 3 layers with the punches that much. I loved the bubble blowing technique used for the background of this card.

Well that's all for today. Come back tomorrow for the next card. have a good weekend

and still more...

hi again, I have some more of the cards I made over the last weekend at camp. This first one is made using The flower punch and the For you stamp. This one is by Richelle. I added an extra layer using the circle punch.
the next card is by Tracey from Manjimup. This card had a different opening and I will add another pic to show it open.

All the other cards I will have to get photos of, so I can show you. I will come back and show you some more later. have a good week.

and more swaps....

back again with more cards. First one made by Karen. It is a nice bright card using Sweet and Sour specialty paper.

next is one by Lynda. The background is the wax paper resist technique. I also learned that you can use whisper white for this technique when I always thought it had to be glossy card.

another card I made was this great kids card by Marthea. I changed the layout around a little and now think I should have left it how it was but its still ok.
last today is a card by Pat Carr. She makes lovely punched cards. I changed the face of the panda a little and gave him a mouth.
that's all for today. Stop by again tomorrow for more.

Shoe Box Swaps and other cards made.

finally here to show you some of the cards I made over the weekend. I didnt get to make all the swaps and also changed some of the cards just slightly. I did get the kits for the other cards but still haven't made them up. Ive been having a lazy week. The first card I made is using a new set coming in the new catalogue. I wanted to use the buttons and ribbon I had received from the promotion last month. I made 2 different cards and then a third using a sketch challenge. The top photo is my first 2 cards trying different colours. I used the new stamp set Button Buddies. I love this vase.

the next card is a sneek peek from the upcoming IB&C made by my niece Amy's using the new set Button Buddies. I love this card and even though Amy doesn't normally like cutting out she had heaps of it on this card.

this next card is one by Michelle Cocking. I love this set and the colours were great. She used the colour blocking technique using the acrylic block.

the next cards was one made by Jo Chester. She had designed this as an invite to her sons birthday party. It is a great kids card.

Ill come back with some more tomorrow. Hope you are having a good weekend

More on my camp.

Hi again, what a lovely sunny day we are having here in Perth. I have been out for a shopping trip to Ikea with my good friend Sandra. Of course I was trying so hard not to buy anything but picked up a few small things.
Anyway as promised here are some more photos from camp.

This is one of the 20 water bottles I altered for the ladies. They could fill them up all weekend so I covered the designer paper panel with contact so it wouldn't get wet. I used the lovely new lace ribbon border punch around the middle and wove ribbon through it. I also cut one flower from it for the name tag around the neck.
I gave everyone a Naturals Ivory A5 card piece scored ready, and a printed colour chart in their bag and over the weekend they could stick all the circles of colour on and decorate the front cover and belly band. I had punched out all the colours for them. Graham helped me with the chart. He is quite clever with making charts etc.

I also had my friend make some pillow boxes for when the ladies arrived but as yet I don't have a photo of one so must do that.
thanks for stopping by. next I will show some of the shoebox swaps we made over the weekend.

Even More Camp Swap Cards

Well I found where I had saved the last swap cards from Camp. with my memory I hope I haven't got any of these wrong. As I said before I didn't get to make all the swaps so if yours isn't here its just that I didn't get to make it. I only made 2 cards on the Sunday. Anyway here goes.
 Amy used Inspired by Nature.

Silvana made her card with Flight of the Butterfly.

Susan Joyce gave us a note pad and pen set which was handy.

Richelle made a funny little penguin from punches.

My sister Sue cased this lovely card from the mini catalogue.
Well that is all for now. have a good week.

More Camp Swap Cards

Today is the first day that I am finally starting to feel so much better. I did cough a little in Church this morning but mostly only if the air is cold or I eat something cold. I have a little more energy and today I even did some designing of cards ready for the ESAD blog hop that I am participating in very soon. I even did my very first video and am going to learn to upload to Youtube and then my blog.... how exciting!!
Anyway back to what I planned for today and that is more of the swap cards from my camp. here goes.
The first one is Lee-Anne's using Cheep talk.

This Owl card is my sister Barbie's. i didnt distress the edges like the original.

Nicki made a lovely baby card with Nursery Necessities.

Jo cased a Tenealle Williams card and I just love this one. She did change it a little with an embossed background. Its a shame these colours are retiring.

I know I made more cards than this on the weekend but I cant find where I have put the photos so when I do I will come back with the others. I hope your weekend has been a good one.

Swaps from Camp

Each year on my camp we all do a shoebox swap so we end up having around 18 different cards to make at our leisure over the weekend. I didn't end up doing all of the swaps as I was tired and coughing lots on Sunday. I did most of them though and plan to show you a few of them. Everyone did such a great job even those who don't make cards all that often.
The first card is designed by Lee-Anne for her mum Chris. Using Pocket Silhouettes
the next card is Helen's. Season of Joy using Bashful Blue. Nice and cool.

The following card is Jenny's. A lovely card with Lovely as a tree.
I'll be back later to show you a few more.
