Holidays week 2

After Convention was over we had one more week in Melbourne. Tracy and Richard spent the day with us on the Sunday. After a leisurely morning get up we had some wonderful pancakes for breakfast made by Richard. They were yummm.... After lunch we went for a drive up to the Dandenongs. I just loved the autumn colours and beautiful sites. We stopped near an overpass bridge and watched the puffing Billy train go past.

I love trees and these were magnificent.
We drove up to Monbulk. I was interested to learn that this was where Monbulk Jam was first made.
we went for a short walk through the Forest.

It sure was a nice day out. Thanks to Richard and Tracy for taking us out.

On Monday we hired a car for the rest of the week to go out into the country a bit. I showed you photos of our visit to the Werribee Open Plain Zoo while still over there. We really enjoyed the drive along the Great Ocean Road. One sign that was on the sides of the road all the way along was for the tourist from other countries. With such a narrow winding road you sure wouldn't want to forget which side you should be driving on.

Just a couple more days to post about so will be back soon with more.
