Finally some cards for you....

hi there,
Its been awhile... I have been making some cards but never seem to take the time to photograph them. I am taking photos all the time of other things but then forget about the cards. Today I have done some photographing of cards and over the next few days will show them to you.
Most have been cased from that wonderful place Pinterest. One of the reasons I haven't been popping them up here is also that I am not always sure where I found the cards and to acknowledge the designer is sometimes very time consuming.
Anyway today I will show you a couple of Triple time stamping cards. I had fun making up some samples for my class to see all the different stamps you can use to make these cards. The first card I have used my new set, Blooming with Kindness and Midnight Mews.

This second card is using the wonderful French Foliage and some autumn colours. The Base is Always Artichoke.
I will be back to show you more of what I have been doing lately.

Camp and One Sheet Wonder.

Hello,
I have been away over the weekend on my Stamping Retreat. 8 of us enjoyed a wonderful weekend of stamping and fellowship. While there one of the projects that I prepared for them to do was a One Sheet Wonder using French Foliage and the colours Always Artichoke, More Mustard, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze with Very Vanilla as the neutral colour. I used the base page pattern from Leanne Greff and then made up my own bits from there. Below are my cards.

I will photograph the swaps later in the week to show you. Today I am having a quiet day on the couch as I seem to be having a flair up with the Rheumatoid Arthritis. Hope to be back in the craft room tomorrow.
thanks for stopping by.

French Foliage

Hi there,
This past week has flown by with appointments and some classes. One of the cards I taught this week is made using French Foliage. I love this set and decided to use it for Versamark resist. I decided on Autumn colours. The First photo is of the leaves close up. On these I used the Rock n' Roll technique. The last card I just added the words with Always Artichoke after sponging over the versamark.

have a great week.

Anniversary Present

Hi there, today is our Wedding anniversary and Graham surprised me by bringing a present in at 6.30am. He said he had looked up and found that the 9th anniversary was pottery so he had this big pot to replace my pot plant that had broken. As we don't normally worry about buying presents it was a lovely. Anyway he then asked me to look in the pot and there was a Canon digital SLR camera. WOW!! I had been saying I needed a new camera and that I would love to one day have a SLR and he had gone and bought me one but he did say we would both be paying it off over a year interest free. Of course I will have to learn how to use it but the first photo I took was of Skye as she was right there checking out the camera as well. So here she is, all nicely groomed.

As I have not been able to take photos of my cards, the next photo I took after 20 or so of Skye was of one of the cards we made last night in a stamp a stack. This one is cased from my friend Jennie who may have cased it as well. I love making the poinsettia with the leaf from French Foliage. I used Very Vanilla with Riding Hood Red and Garden Green.
Now I am off to learn about how to use my new camera and take all those photos I have been wanting to take. Watch out.... I will be shooting anything that I can. yipppeeee!!!
