hello,
I got busy this week and forgot to get back sooner to do another post. It sure has been a hot week here in sunny Western Australia. I prefer cooler weather so have been staying inside with the air con.
This selection of cards I have used the Butterfly Basic bundle from the Occasions catalogue. I bought the photo polymer set so it cost me $71.95 for the bundle. I love the dies and have been cutting out lots of butterflies in all colours. If you would like to purchase this bundle or any other set then you can go to my online store or just email me.
I have been using the help of Pinterest for ideas and loved what I found, so cased all of these lovely cards. It is so nice how we all happily share our ideas on the net. I'm always happy for you to copy my cards and will acknowledge when I CASE from others.
I have had my neighbour's 2 daughters with me all day today and have really loved having the company. They are 3 1/2 and 5. Of course they have done some craft and watched some TV and eaten lots.
Until next time

Update on Reno
hello there,
Happy Australia Day to all my Aussie readers. Its going to be 40 deg here in Perth today so I am staying inside with my air conditioner.
Yesterday Graham and I worked on the demolition of 2 walls and a doorway in our soon to be walk in robe. It was hard work and I couldn't do too much except keep up the food and drink and take care of moving the fish from my aquarium.
back soon with some more cards.

The opening for the walk in robe that will be built.
The new open area
Graham needs to move the air con ducts before he starts to builld the closet so lots more work to do. I will keep you updated.

Painted Petals
hello again,
Today I have a couple of card using the new set Painted Petals. I love the way you can make up flowers however you want using the leaves and petals. It has 13 stamps and is Photopolymer so you can see just where to stamp the second part. The Painted Blooms DSP matches and makes whipping up a quick card so easy. I have cased these from Pinterest.
We have a long weekend ahead so I will be helping Graham with more renovations in the house. Big changes with a couple of walls coming down. Such fun with all the dust and mess... NOT.

Sheltering Tree
hi there,
January is flying by so here I am to show you some more cards. I have really enjoyed making cards with all the lovely new sets in the Occasions Catalogue. I borrowed the set Sheltering Tree and made a couple of samples but when I had some hostess dollars to spend, I decided to buy it for myself. We could sure do with some shady trees here in Perth where the summer temperatures are quite high. It's only 38 deg here at the moment.
There are so many possibilities with this set. This card is made with Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo. I sponged the clouds with Soft Sky.
The next card I have used Calypso Coral for a change in the leaves and used a strip of Birthday Bash specialty designer paper. Once again I've used Wild Wasabi and Early Espresso card stock.
My final card for today is one I cased from Pinterest. It came from stamprightup. It was so lovely that I didnt change anything. The sun is from Kinda Eclectic set.
Thanks for stopping by. Now I just need to keep this up. Leave me a comment to let me know you are visiting me and would like to see more.

Occasions Catalogue Launch
Hi there,
I have finished my second session of my catalogue launch and thought I would pop in to show you a couple of the cards I have made for the launch.
I had 8 guest on Saturday and 4 today and it was fun to show all the sample cards I made to them. Everyone was happy to be able to also receive a free item from Sale-a-bration when their order reached $90.
The make and take was a card I cased from Pinterest and then changed around a little to make my own version of the card. I am loving the new DSP Painted Blooms and have used it on quite a few of my cards. The stamp set is Petal Potpourri using the matching punch.
I have used Pacific Point card stock to match with the DSP and the ribbon is a Sale-a-bration ribbon. I used Wild Wasabi for the leaves. The sentiment is from the Butterfly basics set.
Thanks for stopping by. I will be back soon to show you some more of my sample cards. Have a good week.

Happy New Year
Hi there,
A new year has arrived and with it many resolutions for all kinds of things. I have made one that I will update my blog more often so here I am trying to make that happen. I have just updated the side bar with a link to the catalogues that have gone live today. The new Occasions mini is one of the nicest catalogues we have had for awhile. I love the new stamp sets and am looking forward to showing you some of the cards I have made with the new sets.
Also Sale-a-bration has begun today and goes until the end of March so you have plenty of time to make good use of this great time of the year. Lots of lovely stamp sets and other items that you can receive for every $90 you spend.
I have even updated my profile which was 2 years out of date.
I am busy creating cards samples for my launches that are on this Saturday at 2pm and then again on Monday 12th at 2pm. If you would like to join in with the fun then just phone or email me.
I have just quickly photographed the cards I have made so far so I can show you at least one of them today. I have 23 made so far but heaps more to do before Saturday.
This one came about today when I was teaching a friend some cards and decided to get out some old kits that I had left over from classes. I swithced out the DSP and added a cut out tulip bouquet from the Love is Kindness stamp. I coloured it with Melon Mambo and used the Painted Blooms DSP. The embossing is the new Happy Heart folder. The greeting is from Gifts of Kindness stamp set. Not too bad for a quick make.
I'll be back with more soon. Until then happy stamping.
