ESAD Occasions Blog Hop

Well here I am again for another ESAD blog hop. Such good fun. I need to do more of these so it encourages me to remember to post.

What is ESAD?

ESAD
stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an
on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up!
demonstrators.

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends, and
wonderful blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD
Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge,
ideas & friendship, and we're always there to help and support each
other.

So if
you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand,
then please feel free to leave
me a comment with your Email address and I'll contact you with
information on how to join our wonderful group.

The blog before me is Discover Ink by Ann Gerlach. Even if you are just starting here you can hop around from here.
The stamp I chose to showcase is Vivid Vases. You all know how much I like to paint images so this was just my type of stamp. The style for this first card is called Ombre which is basically going from light to dark or vice versa with a colour family. Doesn't it look great and also a good way to use the fringe scissors. The colours I have used are Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, and Pool Party. They are a good combo for this style.

For this second card I used the DSP Modern Medley. I know it is Vanilla based but I put it on white for some contrast. I stamped the vases on the paper and cut them out. I have used the new Arrows embossing folder

thanks for hopping by. Now its time to hop on to Narelle's blog.
I hope you enjoy this blog hop and find something you like in the new Occasions mini.

Oh I love the ombre card, might have to give that technique a try - I've only seen it done before on cakes! Also really like your black vases. TFS!

Funnily enough, this stamp set was first on my wish list - as soon as I saw it in the pre-order I said I have to get that and paper piece it. Then because it was on back order, I didn't get it, and I still haven't . . . but I just adore what you've done with - especially the Modern Medley vases.

I've had to do a double look at this set now that I've seen your projects - they're fantastic. I really love the one where you stamped on the DSP - it's so effective. TFS :)
