Merry Christmas a little late.....

Hi there,
I just wanted to pop in to say Merry Christmas to you all. I know I am a day late but better late then never.
I also wanted to show you my sister Marion's Christmas Tree in case you didn't see it on Facebook or my other blog.

I hope you are enjoying a restful Boxing Day. I'm staying in out of the 40 deg heat.

Desk Calendars

Hi, yes again I have been forgetting to post things on my blog. I have been busy making some calendars for my family for Christmas.
here are a couple of them. The photo is taken on my phone so not that great. I had fun making these and I hope those who receive them will enjoy them.

welcome,
as promised here is another Ornament card. this one I have used an idea from a card I saw on Pinterest by Jennie Struff and then added a few things to it.
I love the Midnight Muse colour. It is all I have used apart from white. The lovely stitched stain ribbon tops off the card and to add more interest prick the outside of the ornament with the pricking mats. Oops I can see in my photo that this card was one I didn't do that great a job on stamping the border  but then the close up one looks so much better. I added a sentiment from More Merry Messages.

Now I need to go and make some more cards so I can come back and show you more. Hopefully it wont be as long a break as the last time.

Saturday, 17 November 2012

Hi there,
I have finally started to make a few more Christmas cards. I am running very late this year. I love my stamp set Ornament Keepsakes so have been using it with the matching framelits dies. This card is cased from Angela McKay. Using 3 of the stamps in 3 colours. Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Lucky Limeade. I have used the core'dinations card stock with the embossing folder Lacy Brocade. It is then sanded to show the core colour.

Come back tomorrow and I will have another ornament card to show you.

Finally some cards for you....

hi there,
Its been awhile... I have been making some cards but never seem to take the time to photograph them. I am taking photos all the time of other things but then forget about the cards. Today I have done some photographing of cards and over the next few days will show them to you.
Most have been cased from that wonderful place Pinterest. One of the reasons I haven't been popping them up here is also that I am not always sure where I found the cards and to acknowledge the designer is sometimes very time consuming.
Anyway today I will show you a couple of Triple time stamping cards. I had fun making up some samples for my class to see all the different stamps you can use to make these cards. The first card I have used my new set, Blooming with Kindness and Midnight Mews.

This second card is using the wonderful French Foliage and some autumn colours. The Base is Always Artichoke.
I will be back to show you more of what I have been doing lately.

Come to Bethlehem

Hi there, I was reminded today that I haven't posted in a while so I thought it was about time I did. I have been at my friend Pat's cancer council Fundraiser and I contributed a very simple Christmas card. I used the stamp set Come to Bethlehem and the colours Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.
The photos are not the best as I just took them on my phone. Anyway it was a great day and when I do photograph the rest of the projects I will show you.

Have a good week.

Ornament Keepsakes

hi,
yesterday I made 2 decorations using the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and framelits dies. I originally made the one on the front cover of the Holiday mini. I don't think I have shown that on here so I will add that as well. They are easy to make.

There are 7 different shaped baubles in the set so I have lots more ideas for making more decorations. If you would like to make some of these for your Christmas decoration then contact me and I can teach you how.

Today I have made 2 cards using the new stamp set Countryside. I love the old ute so have coloured it in Real Red for one card and Pacific Point for the other. I have used sketch challenges to help me design these cards.

The next set I have used is Cherish Friendship. I painted the apples in red and used a gate fold card. The scallop circle is from Perfect Pennants Bigz die.
I punched the edges under the striped red DSP with the Dotted scallop ribbon border punch.

Thanks for stopping by today. Now you can hop along to Keryn Campbell's blog to see the lovely items she has made.
