I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday. I had a quiet day as Graham went fishing and the kids slept until mid afternoon. The highlight of my day though was the present I received from my lovely daughter Emily. While we were out at a wedding on Saturday evening she painted me a picture on a canvas. It took her 4 hours and I love it. She looked at a picture on the net and just painted this rose on the canvas without washing her brush at all. Isn't it fantastic. Emily is 15 and likes art and is very good at looking at something and copying it.
