Flower Fest

hi there, 

I haven't posted in awhile as I have been so busy getting ready for my Fundraiser for the Thailand Mission project that my church supports. It was a huge success and we raised a total of $2265.00. Thanks to everyone who came along as without you I couldn't do it. I have taken most of this week to get over such a big day. My body doesn't cope too well with such a big day but with rest I am feeling much better today.

I wanted to show you another of the cards we made. This one is a square card using Blush Blossom and Pear Pizzazz and the stamp set Flower Fest. I cased this card from Pinterest by Karen Barber. 

 I will try to post the rest of the cards in the next few days.


 

Flowers and more flowers......

hi there, I hope you have had a good weekend. I had a busy one so having a quiet day today.

I was just checking out the cards I have made this year and think I have found some I have not shown yet. So here they are.

The first 2 are using Fabulous Florets and the last one is Flower Fancy.  I like to paint as you know so these stamps are my favourites.

 This last card I cut around the edge of the flowers and the dotted piece of DSP is on the inside of the card.
 

Apothecary Art

Hi there,

today I would like to show you a card I made after seeing one like this on the net. I thought I had pinned it but now cant find where I saw it. Just an update. I have found where I cased this from. It is Frenchie's blog.

It took me awhile to work out the measurements needed for an A5 card but I love how it turned out. This is one done in Poppy Parade.

This card is a gate fold card and it opens with the frame going one way and the picture going the other as shown in these next 2 photos.

I hope you are having a nice weekend. Today it is a sunny 29 degrees here in Perth so it is a lovely day. I went fishing yesterday and it was just as beautiful. You can pop over to my photography blog and see my photos of the sunrise (yes I was up very early) and seagulls and also the fish we caught.
 

Technique Classes

Hello there, 

Today I taught my monthly Technique Class and we did Plaid Silhouette and also Gingham Embossing. I made technique sheets for both and they got to make one card.

Pleated Satin Ribbon

Hi there,

 Its Anzac day here in Australia so everyone is enjoying a day off going to dawn services or just having a quiet day like me. I have a card to show you that I made using some pleated ribbon to make a rose. I have used the designer paper Twitterpated. I have also used the new Adorning Accents embossing folder with hearts on it.

Elegant Bird Die

Hello, I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Sunday. Today I want to show you a card and also a medallion wreath using the new bird die from Stampin' Up!

I made each of the medallions using the new Simply Scored and then added a strip of acetate across the middle of the wreath to adhere the bird to.

The card I made so that you can pull the wing down to see the greeting.
