My New Blog

Hi again,
Today I started my new blog Shutterbug Andrea and have shown some photos of my family in Manjimup. This will mainly be somewhere to post my photographs for my family and friends to see. Go over to have a look and leave me a comment for my first post.

Pleated Satin Ribbon

Hi there,
Its Anzac day here in Australia so everyone is enjoying a day off going to dawn services or just having a quiet day like me. I have a card to show you that I made using some pleated ribbon to make a rose. I have used the designer paper Twitterpated. I have also used the new Adorning Accents embossing folder with hearts on it.
I hope whatever you are doing today you are enjoying the day.

thanks for stopping by

Elegant Bird Die

Hello, I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Sunday. Today I want to show you a card and also a medallion wreath using the new bird die from Stampin' Up!

I made each of the medallions using the new Simply Scored and then added a strip of acetate across the middle of the wreath to adhere the bird to.

The card I made so that you can pull the wing down to see the greeting.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Bright Blossoms

Hi there,
I have been back from Manjimup for a few days now and thought it was about time I posted on my blog. While down there I practiced my photography and took so many photos and have decided to start a photo blog so I keep this blog for card making. When I do get it up and running I will give you a link to it in case you would like to see what I have been taking pictures of.

Anyway back to cards. I borrowed the stamp set Bright blossoms and made a couple of cards for my launch. The first one I cased from Me,My Stamps and I  and then used up some bits to come up with the oval one.

Now that I have seen some really lovely cards made with set I am thinking I may need to buy it for myself.

Cased Mixed Bunch

here I am again,
this time I have cased a couple of cards using Mixed Bunch. The first one is a gorgeous Lion that I have copied almost exactly from What are you Inking. What a great punch art lion using the Blossom Punch for his mane.

The second card today was inspired again by a card I saw on Pinterest. What a wonderful place Pinterest is. This time it is from Simple and Sincere.
Well I hope you are all having a nice relaxing weekend. I will be back with more during the week.
thanks for stopping by.

Mixed Bunch

hello there,
Today I want to show you a couple of cards I have made using the new stamp set Mixed Bunch with the matching punch. I am really loving this set.The first card is inspired by one I saw on Pinterest and I went to follow it back to the designers blog and found that she had cased it from Sandi MacIver's blog so I suppose I need to credit Sandy for the original card. Anyway its changed both times, so different.

This second card was also inspired by a card on Pinterest and I have just found that it comes from Canopy Crafts. Thanks to Nance for the idea.

I am off to Manjimup for Easter with my family so I would like to wish you all a safe and Blessed Easter.

Packed for.....

Hi again,
thank you to everyone for the lovely comments on the cards I made for the blog hop. Now I have some more cards to show you that I made for my launch. These stamps are the Packed for Everything bundle. You can buy each stamp separately but they are cheaper as a set. I have just made one card for each stamp.
 Baby
 Birthday

 Dad

 Mum

There is a fair bit of colouring for these stamps but you can use them just for the background as I did on the birthday and dad ones. The baby one is just coloured in small amounts which make it not as busy.

Autumn/Winter Mini Blog Hop

Hi there and welcome to the ESAD Autumn Winter Mini Bog Hop. You will probably have just come from Peggy's blog but if not just hop on from my blog and follow it around.

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Now on to what I have created to show you today. I have decided to use the stamp set Apothecary Art and the new Framelits dies to go with it. I am loving this set of course since there is colouring to do. Also the set Bordering on Romance as I have used the framelits on these 2 cards as well.

I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and loved it so here is my version. The flowers look great with tiny pearls on them.

I coloured this one last week and then last night quickly put it together using some of the pretty satin pleated ribbon. The paper is Twitterpated.

Bordering on Romance. This card I have used the framelits die to cut out the centre piece and then the Edgelits die to cut the edges and then placed Poppy Parade under the edge. I have left the front mostly white and embossed it.

This final card I have used Blushing Bride and Pool Party. Also I have used the new Edgelits die and matching embossing folder. Aren't they just lovely.
Now its time for you to hop on over to Carolyn Bennie's Blog to enjoy more lovely cards. I have more cards ready for my launch tomorrow so come back in the next day or so to check them out.
thanks for stopping by.
