I have had 4 very busy days so haven't had time to spend anytime on the computer. Anyway I thought I'd pop in tonight and show you a card I have made with Sense of Time. I have also used the Sanded background and the Oval All set with the new scalloped oval punch. I have stamped on whisper white and used Night of Navy ink. I always forget to use my hodgepodge so got it out for this card. I do have the cards that I taught yesterday for my 5 card afternoon to show you at some stage but I keep forgetting to take the photos. I must put a photo session in my plans.

Season of Joy
Hi again,
The last post was supposed to be posted automatically yesterday but I obviously didn't set it properly. Anyway you will now have 2 posts in one day- make up for all the days and weeks I don't post anything. This is one of the Christmas cards I designed using a sketch challenge. I am going to redo it this week and take out the designer paper so that I can use it for a stamp a stack.
anyway I hope your week is going well.

Stamping Camp
Heads down busy stamping
Thought I would tell you a little more about the camp I organised last weekend. we had 15 people stay over the weekend and 3 day visitors each day so it was only a small camp but that is a good number for a cosy camp.
Everyone who came did a shoebox swap so we ended up having 20 different cards to make at our leisure over the weekend. We also all made a door prize/hostess gift. Over the weekend I drew out names and we got to choose one of them.
this was my one. I covered a domed plastic box and put in a sponge and dimensionals and made a little flower for the top. I demonstrated how to make this flower during the weekend and plan to write a tutorial for it when I get some time.
I also taught a couple of techniques and one of them was bleaching. I forgot to take the bleach but had my prepared bleach pad which of course didnt work as the bleach has to be fresh out of the bottle. A little trip to the local shops fixed the problem and I managed to show them the different ways to use bleach on your cards. Here are a few samples.
Tri -Shutter Case
As promised I am going to try and blog a little more this week. I have heaps of cards to show you but getting organised to photograph them and post is something I forget to do. I had a great stamp a stack today with a group of ladies I love teaching as they are all good friends with each other and I enjoy seeing how they have so much fun as a group. I will show you the cards they made today later in the week but for now I want to show you my last tri shutter card I made.
I loved the colours Jenny used on her tri shutter card at stamp club this month so I decided to CASE her card which I showed you in the post before yesterdays one. I didn't change it much but added some of the new Jumbo Brads out of the new mini and a different greeting. Thanks Jenny for a great idea.

Checking In
Sorry that I have been MIA and not kept up with my blog for awhile. I have been very busy with preparation for my camp and then going to camp over the weekend. It was a wonderful weekend and I plan to organise another one for next year. I had a wonderful group of ladies join me and the shoe box swaps were great. We also had a hostess gift/ Door prize raffle and the wonderful things everyone created was fantastic. The lucky people drawn out first were envied by all. When I get time to take some photos and edit them I will post some for you to see. I have a card making afternoon on Sunday so will show you the cards I design for that later as well.
Thank you so much to everyone who came and helped make the weekend a great success.
I have also been having problems with neuralgia in my head, that has stopped me from doing things that I would like to be doing.
Have a great week
Love
Andrea

Tri Shutter cards made by club members
Hi there. I have been quiet again on here as I have been having a few days rest to try and get rid of a cold that has been hanging around for 2 weeks. I cancelled everything but my stamp clubs in the past week so I could rest. In stamp club this week I taught the girls the basic tri-shutter card and then let them loose on my designer papers and stamp sets and these are some of what they came up with. I love them and think they are all so talented. Others did make the card but hadn't finished so I haven't got a picture of theirs.

A Brown and White Dog....
I took Skye out for her walk on Thursday and wasnt taking much notice of what she was doing and turned around to find her rolling in a muddy puddle. She was brown instead of white. I had my camera with me (fancy that) so I took some photos of her. By the time we got home the mud had dried so I had to bath her which she really didnt like at all. She is now all soft and white again.
But Mum... I was having so much fun...
Tri Shutter card
I have made a couple of tri-Shutter cards that I had cased but have now made one myself with Walk in The Park DP and the stamp set Great friend. I love these colours. I used the measurements that a friend of mine designed with just a little change in height. It works so well and I love it.
I have been using Baja Breeze a lot these days as it is in all the latest designer papers in the mini. Below is the photos of the open card, closed and also a close up of the front panel.
I wanted to teach this card at my launch but with so many panels to cover I decided it was too time consuming and also can you imagine cutting the kits for this card. All those layers. Anyway I ended up making up a normal A5 card using the same stamp set and papers at the last minute as an extra card for the afternoon. I will show you that card when I take a photo of it.
I have stamp club this afternoon so I had better go and get ready for that. Have a great weekend.

Spring Mini Launch
I held my Spring Mini Launch Yesterday afternoon and had 14 ladies join me for an afternoon of fun stamping. It was a great afternoon and we made 6 cards. I can now show you some of the cards we made. Below is the bookmark I made as a gift to everyone who came along. I used one of the Gallery Stamps for the back and then a scallop circle in mellow moss and then the medallion out of Great Friend and of course the butterfly. I topped it off with a rhinestone Brad. On the back I stamped the Elegant thank you stamp.
The card below is using the Choo Choo stamp set and also the right on track wheel. What a great set for kids. I cased this card from SCS and loved it. I did get a few complaints about all the cutting out on the cards I made but it does look good. I ended up having to use a retired wheel to make the background paper as I didn't have enough of the blue DP from Good Morning Sunshine pack. I will show you some more cards tomorrow. I'm off to relax for awhile.
