Our New Grandson

Introducing Mitchell Buckland, our new grandson. Graham's son Micheal and his girlfriend Melissa have a lovely little boy. I just love this photo of him as it isnt the typical hospital photos that they had when my 2 were born. He was 9lb 2, so not such a little fellow.

More Upsy Daisy

Here are 2 more Upsy Daisy cards that I made. One of the ladies wanted a darker pink card so I gave her Regal Rose to work with and the other card is just turned to a landscape layout. thanks for your comments on my last card. I really appreciate feedback. My friend told me today that you cant see the celery marker on my pictures but these are inked up with celery and pretty in pink markers. Sorry the photo doesn't actually show this.

Upsy Daisy

Hi, I hope your week is going well. Today I did a stamp a stack with some lovely ladies and this is one of the cards we made. I love Pink Pirouette and Upsy Daisy and this is my creation using them. I used the Pretty in Pink marker to ink up the stamp and sponged with Pretty in Pink as well. I have used the friendly words roller for the background.

Part 2 Side Step Card Tutorial

Well here goes on the final half of the tutorial. I have decided to go on my husband computer and see if i can have more luck. If it doesnt look right I'm sorry. I really must learn how to do this blogging better....

Step 6.
Using markers ink up your tree stamps with choc chip for the trunks and Old Olive for the branches. I then thumped randomly over the branches with the always artichoke marker. Stamp on naturals Ivory card stock.

Step 7. Ink up the single pine again and stamp on the main panel of the card.

Step 8.
Cut out the trees. Mount the group of trees on Always Artichoke cardstock and adhere to the back step. Adhere the oak tree to the second step and the Pine tree on the main panel. I glued the ground part of the main tree and raised the branched area with stampin dimensionals.

Step 9.
Using the word window punch, punch out 2 and fold in half and adhere under your steps as shown. I find that the steps spread so I use these to hold them in place.

Step 10.

Stamp a greeting and punch out with oval punches and adhere to the front step of your card.

Here is the finished card.

Side Step Card Tutorial

I have hopefully finally written up the tutorial for this side step card. I had heaps of trouble with it and had to delete all my work as it wasn't even showing on the blog and now I'm starting all over again. Wow I really admire you ladies who write tutorials all the time and keep up with your blogs so nicely. I hope you all enjoy this one as it sure has taken heaps of time. please leave me a comment if you like it to make me feel like it has all been worth it.
well here I am still an hour and half later. I am going to try to post up to step 5 to see if that will work. you will have to be patient to get the last 5 steps.
