Only Ornaments Christmas Card

I thought is was about time I added another card to my blog. I have been busy this week preparing for tomorrows Mini catalogue launch. I also had my last stamp a stack on Tuesday evening and this was one of the cards we made.
It is made with Bravo Burgundy card stock and using gold ink. I love using the crimper as it add interest to an otherwise very simple card. I hope you like it.

CD calendar

Its that time of the year again for me. Making calendars for Christmas presents. Last year I made CD calendars for all my family. They really liked them so I thought I would make some more this year and I have changed the format a little and this is a couple of months that I have done. The above photo is February taken next to my vase of roses I picked the other day. I have neglected my roses of late and so they are much smaller than the first pick in Spring.
Below is October done using Both Way Blossoms.

I have plenty of the CD calendar cases in stock and am selling them for $1 each so if you need some just let me know and also I am teaching the CD calendar class again this year so if you want to do this calendar as a workshop it will be $30 for the day.

Reflection technique in different colours

I taught the reflection technique again in my Friday night stamp club and the girls decided to try out some different colours. Here are 2 cards made by Karen and Dale using Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise. Its nice to see the same card made in different colours. Thanks Karen and Dale for letting me show your cards.

Covered Note Books

Here are a couple of notebooks I have covered, with matching pens. I am teaching a notebook lesson on Thursday at LBC so thought I would show you part of what we are doing. I have completed 3 notepads today with 3D on them and will photograph them as well when I get a chance.
The Stamp set I have used is Sassy Stems.

Spring Cards

I am a little behind with my blogging for the week so here are the Spring cards my ladies on Wednesday learnt this week. The templates are great to use for the embossing, pricking and embroidery as they have 4 different designs. These are 2 cards I had made previously. When I finish the medium card I started I will post it here for you as well.
Have a great weekend. Also if you have the time please talk to me.... as in leave a message. You dont need to join up just leave it as anonymous but add your name after the comment so I know who you are. I feel like I am all alone as a blogger without any comments......... thanks

Christmas Cards

I have been busy stamping the insides of all the Christmas cards I have made while doing stamp a stacks. I finished off all the half done ones as well and have more than I realised made. I thought I would show you some of them here now that I have almost finished my stamp a stacks. This one is made using the reverse masking technique. I love the set Lovely as Tree as you can use it so many ways. The card is Night of Navy and stamped with Whisper white craft ink.

Wax Paper Resist

The second technique we did this month was wax paper resist. I love the look of this for backgrounds. This is a card I had made previously using this technique. The colours I have used are Pale Plum and Perfect Plum. The stamp set is Roses in Winter.

Lovely as a Tree Reflection

Here is the second card I made using the reflection technique. This time I stamped the image on Vellum and then turned the vellum over and stamped again under the first image. I sponged the colour on the front at the top and on the back for the reflection to make it lighter. I love this set Lovely as a Tree as I can use it for so many different techniques.

Mega Paper Clip Frog

here is my paper clip frog. My friend Vicki made the original Mr Frog that I cased. He is made using Stampin' Up punches and also a scalloped punch. The paper clip is a 102mm clip which I have managed to purchase 2 boxes of these clips in gold and silver. They come in a packet of 5 for $4.25 so if anyone is interested in getting some let me know and I can organise to post you some.
Have a great weekend.

Time for a change in Colour

Thought it was time to change colour on my blog. The pink was good for October as it was the month for breast cancer awareness but I like this cool green for this month.

Mirror Image

The techniques we are doing in Stamp club this month are Mirror Image or reflections and wax paper resist. This is the card I made using Summer By the Sea stamp set. I did use paisley on the red background card but it doesnt show up so I will be using a different background in the lesson. As I enjoy colouring stamped images this one I enjoyed but then I think I enjoy all stamping.

I have recieved my pre order from the Summer mini catalogue so will be spending the next couple of weeks making up some cards to teach at my Catalogue launch on the 1st December. The new stamp sets are so nice.

I hope you all have a great weekend and I will try to post more often.
