ESAD 2017 Last Chance Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

hello and welcome to my blog.
I am taking part in another blog hop and you may have come from the talented Bec"s Blog . If you are just starting here then I hope you enjoy the hop.

Today we are showcasing items from the Occasions catalogue and also as its the last month of Sale-a-bration we are using items from this years Sale-a-bration.

I decided to get out a couple of sets I haven't used yet and the cards I have for you are

Nailed It

Colours I have used are Crushed Curry, Basic Grey, Whisper White. The strip of DSP is from the Urban Underground specialty DSP
The Happy Birthday stamp is from Designer Tee in the Sale-a-bration Catalogue.

Perfect Mix

I decided to make this card for my mum.
She bakes so many yummy cakes and biscuits.
The card is Pool Party with the same DSP. The ribbon is the Emerald Envy Taffeta ribbon.

And from Sale-a-bration
Avant Garden.

I didn't get this set to begin with as I thought I had enough flower stamp sets but saw some wonderful cards made with it so finally got it but then why not get a great FREE set with a $90 order.

I have been enjoying using the diagonal slash technique on cards using a square of DSP but this time stamped my own piece and then slashed it and spread it apart to stamp the greeting in the space.

Well that is all for today.
Now its time to hop along to the lovely Nicole Wilson's Blog

thank you for stopping by and have a great week

ESAD 2017 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-bration blog hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am once again taking part in a blog hop, this time showing you projects from the Occasions catalogue and also a Sale-a-bration item. You will have come from the very talented Libby's Blog if you have been following the hop.

My project today is a little box and matching card using the Window box thinlits die found on page 43 of the Occasions catalogue. The other products I used are Falling in Love Designer Series Paper and Falling in Love 12 x 12 card stock found on page 51. With these items I qualified for a free Sale-a-bration item and I chose the Delicate Details stamp set on page 9. This lace stamp really added to my card which is made using one of the small square dies in the window Box dies. I also used some of the new Vanilla Satin ribbon also found in the Falling in Love Suite.
This will make a great present and matching card for a friend or family member. I am planning on finding a scarf that will fit perfectly into the box.

The detail on the lid of the box. You can choose to leave the lid solid but adding this delicate die cut really adds to the box. I have added the DSP under the cutout but you can leave it open.

Now you can hop on over to check out the lovely items that Cherly O'Bree has made.

Items I used in my projects.

Watercolour Pencils and new Occasions and Sale-a-bration projects

hi there, I am having my launch for the 2017 Occasions catalogue tomorrow and I have been busy making cards. It will be no surprise that most of them have something coloured on using the new Waterclour pencils that are in the catalogue. I do love to colour on my stamping projects and having pencils in Stampin' Up! colours really makes it so much easier. I still use ink when needing a colour not in the set. I also mix my own colours using the pencils.

My first project is a 3D item and matching card. I love this little box made with the Window Box thinlits die. The stamp set is Moon Baby and the paper is Falling in Love DSP. I used Wink of Stella to make it sparkle.

The other children set is Little Cuties and there are some great little cute animals to colour. I put the sheep on a rocker for some fun.

This card is using the horse for a traditional rocker. I put the horse without the rocker inside.

The little pup from this set is so adorable so I used him 3 times on my next card.

My next 3 cards are using the stamp set Hey Chick from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. I used to have my own chickens growing up and they were Silky bantams so the middle chick reminds me of them. I used the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions folder to stamp the background to look like chicken wire.

I have my camp coming up soon. Last camp I made everyone a handbag full of goodies. I designed it myself and used retired papers to make them. The size was determined by what I wanted to fit inside. I still have places at my camp if you would like to come along contact me.

Well that's all for today but come back tomorrow for the ESAD blog hop. There will be so many great projects made by demonstrators all over Australia and New Zealand.

Have a wonderful weekend.

ESAD 2017 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to my stop on today's blog hop.
As soon as I saw the chickens in the Sale-a-bration set Hey Chick I knew I had to have it. I was raised on a farm and we always had chooks and I had my own Silky hens which had feathers tops of their heads. Anyway back to now...
I coloured the hens with the new watercolour pencils. In the second card I mixed my own purple using the red and blue pencils. They are so easy to mix.

With my next 2 cards I have paired the greeting set Suite Sentiments with Stylish Stems framelits dies. I love the fact that you can cut out just the inner petals and use this on top of another colour.
I once again used the watercolour pencils to add colour to the petals behind the card front.

For this card I also aded a small strip of an embossed piece using the new Falling Petals embossing folder. Before I used the mat for behind my main card front I cut out a couple of flowers for use inside my card but then made sure that the area behind the leaf was open so I could then use the main card as my leaf colour.

Its now time to hop on over to Narelle's blog to see her beautiful creations.

ESAD Holiday Favourite Products Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog

If you are on the hop you would have come from Rebecca's lovely page.

I liked most of the sets in this holiday catalogue but I think Santa's Sleigh gets my pick for favourite.
There were so many different Z fold cards made with this set on Pinterest and mine is probably much the same as a few put together. I made the background panels by sponging with Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Night of Navy and then flicking water on to give the snowy effect. I used window sheets for the panel and stamped the reindeer with Soft Suede on Crumb Cake. The trees are Garden Green.

My second card is a case with some change, this time just an A6 card and 2 reindeer. Colours are Mint Macaron with Red sleigh and Crumb Cake reindeer as before.

That's all for today. I hope you are enjoying our blog hop.
Now it's time to hop along to the very talented Leonie's blog
