Retiring Stamp Sets Card Day

Hi there,
Sorry I haven't been around for over a week.I have not been well with changing of medication. Withdrawal is really not the nicest thing to go through. Anyway with some help from some lovely friends I got through last week and even managed to design and case 8 cards for my card day. I will show you them over the next week. I am also getting ready for my 5th Anniversary Camp that is on this coming weekend. It is going to be the best camp I have organised and I cant wait to get away for a whole weekend of stamping with friends.
The first card I made using A Wish for Peace. I have had heat and stick powder for about 3 years now and have never used it so decided to have a go. Wow what an easy technique and it looks great. The top card is the one that my friend Sandra helped me to design off a card that she had made. I have used Bashful Blue and Night of Navy card stock and Marina Mist ink with Night of Navy. I then decided to add the embossing folder when I was making my demo card.

The second card I used Always. I haven't used this set for quite some time and as I was running out of time I revisited a card I made a couple of years ago. I just used Peach Parfait where I had previously used Groovy Guava. The base card is Crumb Cake and as you can see Tempting Turquoise.
I love this heart stamp out of this set.

that is all for today. back to making name tags for camp.
