what a wonderful 50th birthday I have had. On Saturday I had my party with over 60 of my family and friends gathering together for a fun night. So far I have heard that everyone enjoyed themselves. My good friend Sandra worked hard in the kitchen and other friends kindly made food for the party. Wow we had so much food that there was heaps over. My friend Colleen was MC and did a great job. The ice breaker game was so good and everyone got to know each other. Everyone had name tags saying their name and what people could talk to them about. After the savoury part of the food my friend Grace and her 3 beautiful daughters helped me do a little concert for my guests. We named our group "Andy and The Price Girls" and with 2 guys on guitars and a drummer we had our little band. We only had 2 rehearsals so it wasn't perfect but hey we had fun and that was what it was all about. Some people, when they turn 50, get a tattoo or jump out of a plane but I always wanted to sing in a group so that is what I did. After that we had dessert which my sister Sue helped out with lots of yummy slices and my niece Amy made the best Florentines. Sandra made me a wonderful birthday cake and iced and decorated it too. I have a photo to show you. It isn't the best photo as my camera battery is flat but I will have some photos to show you later in the week when I get my disc from the photographer. Yes I had a professional photographer to capture all my family and friends for me and she did a great job. Anyway I will stop rambling for now and come back tomorrow with some photos of all the beautiful birthday cards I received.
